The Yarmouth Rowing Club Adult Program is designed for adults who have at least a modest amount of rowing experience, or who participate in one of our Learn to Row clinics.
Once oriented to the Club, members sign up for rows based on their schedule, technical ability, and whether they prefer a recreational, fitness or competitive row.
A Club Ambassador is available to answer questions, provide an orientation and familiarize new members with the equipment, club procedures, water system and the river.
Prospective members (experienced rowers) may join us as a guest for 2 rows while deciding whether or not to become a member. The Club Ambassador or one of the Co-Presidents can help guests find the right boat for these rows. All prospective members and guest rowers must sign a waiver prior to rowing. You may download a waiver here or find a blank paper waiver and pen in the logbook pouch in the gray cabinet at the dock. Please leave the signed waiver in the pouch.
If you are new to the sport, please inquire about adult Learn to Row clinics that are designed for true novices, those looking for some coached rows, or for rowers who are getting back into the sport after a break.
